GENboard — My Story

How I turned textile waste into a sustainable structural panel.

My Journey

This is not a company legend — it’s my personal story. I started GENboard because I saw textile waste piling up with no sustainable solution. What began as small experiments soon grew into a tested, pilot-ready innovation.

Milestones of My Journey

1

How it started

I began collecting textile scraps from local tailors. The first attempts were rough, but I knew I was onto something bigger than a waste problem — I saw potential for a sustainable board.

2

First prototypes

Using a simple bench press, I made my first panels. They cracked easily, but each failure gave me lessons on binder ratios, curing, and fiber blends.

3

Pilot trials

Scaling up was my biggest challenge. I tested larger moulds, finishing techniques, and strength benchmarks. It became clear that industrial tools would be the next step.

4

Testing & validation CURRENT

With internal QA and mechanical testing complete, I prepared GENboard for third-party validation. Every stage was one step closer to proving this board could replace conventional infrastructure boards.
