Product overview

GENboard is a mixed-fabric composite panel engineered for performance (strength, fire resistance, moisture tolerance) while prioritising environmental safety and end-of-life options (compostable or safe recycling). Proprietary binder formulation is excluded from public materials.

Progress & milestones

Lab prototypes: Multiple lab-scale panels produced and tested (density, flexural strength, water absorption).
Material optimisation: Fiber blends and binder composition tuned to balance stiffness & toughness.
Pilot production: Bench press & pilot moulds used; finishing trials ongoing.
Standards & testing: Internal QA complete; next: third-party IS/ASTM-equivalent testing.
Finishing & Strength Validation: Industrial-standard finishing requires additional tooling — planned before commercial testing.
DFM & tooling: Production flow, tooling concept and BOM prepared for scale-up.

Key technical notes

  • Target density: 550–900 kg/m³ (adjustable by fiber mix).
  • Surface finishes: smooth, embossed, laminated options tested.
  • Binder: water-based biodegradable binder (confidential).
  • Standard sizes: 8ft × 4ft panels; variable thicknesses supported.
  • Industrial finishing tools planned before certification.
